Students learn by doing, working with professional tools, locks, hardware, and techniques used in the field.
No college degree or previous locksmith experience is required. Adults 18 and older can learn practical skills designed to prepare them for opportunities in locksmithing, property maintenance, facilities management, security services, entrepreneurship, and related skilled trades.
More Than a Classroom Course
Students receive practical instruction in areas such as:
Lock installation and rekeying
Residential and commercial hardware
Emergency lockout techniques
Master keying
Automotive locksmith fundamentals
Key cutting and programming
Professional tools and equipment
Locksmith terminology and troubleshooting
Business development and entrepreneurship
Our goal is not simply to teach students how locks work. We want students to leave with practical knowledge, greater confidence, and a clearer path toward employment, entrepreneurship, or expanding their existing skill set.
Training That Opens Doors
Locksmithing is an essential skilled trade used by homeowners, businesses, property managers, government agencies, schools, automotive customers, and organizations every day.
At The Locksmith School, we believe learning a valuable trade can create new possibilities. Whether your goal is to start a locksmith business, add a new professional skill, or pursue a career in the industry, we provide hands-on training designed to help you take the next step.
Learn the skill. Build the confidence. Open new doors.
